Our featured coffee this month is our classic House Blend. This coffee is a three-bean single-origin blend. This blend is from Finca Dolores, located in Intibucá, Honduras. Finca Dolores is a combined lot made up of several smallholder farms sitting side by side in the same growing area. Our importer does direct trade instead of going through a broker or co-op, which means full traceability back to the people behind the coffee and a fairer price for their harvest. Their processing operation employs roughly 50-60 locals, providing important community job opportunities. The beans are grown at 1,400 MASL and 100% hand sorted. We taste rich chocolatey and nutty notes from this blend.

While we’re getting ready to open our doors, there are plenty of exciting events happening around town this month. The Zephyr Market will take place on September 19th at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Zephyrhills, featuring local vendors, handmade goods, and more (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/saturday-zephyr-market-tickets-1993946969060 ). The Homecoming Parade will make its way down Main Street on September 23rd, bringing the community together for a fun local tradition (https://www.facebook.com/ZephyrhillsFreePress/posts/zhs-homecoming-parade-set-for-sept-19zephyrhills-high-school-will-bring-bulldog-/1691872179611294/ ).
And for something a little more adventurous, the USPA 2026 Nationals Canopy Piloting will take place between September 22nd–28th at Skydive City ZHills. Hosted right here in Zephyrhills, this nationally recognized skydiving competition will bring top-tier canopy piloting to our town (https://www.skydivecity.com/event/uspa-nationals-2026-canopy-piloting/)!
